Novotel Ipswich Centre

This place perfectly suits my needs with great amenities like free wi-fi, a bar/lounge area, and an excellent fitness centre. On my first stay, the staff kindly helped with my suitcases. I met Mark, who made my evenings enjoyable with his engaging company. Highly recommend the dining options. I'm definitely coming back for Christmas!

The room was comfortable quiet and high standard and the bathroom was large. The breakfast was good hot and large and the team was accommodating. Location: the hotel was really close to center of town, concerts of The Proclaimers, and the restaurant on sunday evening...

It was a very good budget hotel which had decent service.

Rooms feature a separate toilet and bathroom setup, which can feel odd but does provide some privacy. The hotel boasts a cozy lounge area and outdoor seating surrounded by flowers, great.

Noise levels were a big issue, with echoey corridors and doors banging throughout the night making it hard to get a good rest. Room amenities could use an upgrade. Paper cups instead of proper glasses and no water in the room was like a missed opportunity. The skip outside filled with old carpet wasn't exactly a good first impression, and the lack of information about breakfast options was frustrating. The decor in the refurbished room looked unfinished, with paint on the skirting. It felt a bit underwhelming for the price.

The breakfast had lots of food and it was large. Booked double room, that included a safe box, central heating and an iron. The location was incredible, for example, a historic house museum was a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel.

The location was ideal for exploring local attractions and enjoying nearby amenities. The room was modern and spotless, which made my stay comfortable. I particularly appreciated the amazing selection of fresh options at breakfast. It was a nice touch that they made an effort to accommodate our needs during our meal.

The hotel is situated in a good spot being not far from the town centre and other locations of interest within Ipswich. The function I attended was served well by the hotel and staff. Overall a very pleasant stay.
